Week 8

Week 8 has come quickly and only 3 more weeks off work for Kyley.

Addyson has been a "Big Helper" with Campbell which makes it pretty nice when you don't want to get up to grab something for Campbell, Addy will do it.

This week Grandpa Brand came over to help Jeff plant some trees in the backyard. We planted two King Crimson Maple trees with the help and supervision of Addyson. This is her standing in the hole we just dug. The spade shovel is taller than her as you can see.
If any of you ever need trees or a lot of plants for landscaping and are willing to wait until next September, there is a HUGE nursery near Phillipsburg that have a yearly auction. We bought these trees for $75 each, and they probably would have been about $200. Crazy event but great opportunity to save money.

Jeff spent the day of our anniversary taping and painting the primer coat on Campbell's bedroom. Addyson helped with the taping -- basically putting tape all over the walls. Now we just have to work on getting the tape in the correct spots.

This is a video of them taping, and Addy telling us we are painting Campbell's room pink, yellow, and green. We ended up with daffodil yellow stipes - a matte and semi-gloss for the stripes.
