WEEK 4

Can't believe 4 weeks have gone by already. Seems like just yesterday little Campbell was still in my belly -- thank goodness that isn't the case!

Campbell's first bath, which was a bit more difficult than I remember. Campbell loves to squirm and kick her legs -- and the bath was a great environment for her to show us how much she likes to move. However, it made it very hard to hold onto her.
Addyson still continues to be a big helper -- she is always asking "can I please help" -- too cute! Let's hope she remembers that line for a while. Campbell is also doing well except for the evenings -- she just can't seem to get settled. Trying a few things so we can get her settled down -- wish us luck!

WEEK 3

Our weeks are slowly (at least I'm trying to make them go slowly!) passing us by. Campbell is still doing well! We are getting anywhere from a 4 to a 6-hour stretch at night. And she enjoys sleeping most of the day away but is wide awake during the evening -- very similar to her schedule when she was in my belly. We have started tummy time this week, which Campbell will tolerate for a bit. Working those neck muscles!

Our girls!Campbell taking full advantage of anyone that will let her snuggle up to you -- Aunt Mal Mal fell victim here! (truly a victim!)
Another sleepy Campbell.
Addyson testing out the play mat for Cambpell. A little nerve-racking when Addyson wants to lay in here when Campbell is in here, but too cute! Addy tries so hard to be gentle and careful around her little sister. Of course she will be the first to tell you that she is "big and strong" (and Campbell is not)!

This week we did venture out to the Great Darke County Fair with both girls. Addy loved visiting with all of the animals. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures -- hopefully next year!

Addyson is continuing to learn new things - every day it seems! She is also starting to become less shy, of course she still has her shy moments. During our recent trip to the mall she was telling everyone hello! And she has recently starting to tell people that ask that she is two and a half! She can also say the days of the weeks in order. And we are also working what her mom and dad's names are and what city she lives in. She is soaking everything up.

CAMPBELL WEEK 2

We have quite the eater on our hands! Campbell had her 2 week check up on Tuesday and she has surpassed her birth weight and is doing well.
Weight: 8lbs 4oz (55%)
Height: 21 3/4" (90%)
Head Circ: 14 1/2" (75%)

This past weekend we were able to visit with some of our extended Brand family. Addyson hade a great time playing with her cousins, aunts and uncles. She was quite the social butterfly! And of course Campbell enjoyed all of the cuddles.

CAMPBELL -- WEEK 1

Going to try to keep up on the weekly pictures with Campbell like we did with Addyson. Fingers are crossed!

We had a busy first week at home. Campbell had her first bath and attended a birthday party. Addyson went to the same birthday party - complete with a pirate treasure hunt - and went to a puppet show with Dad and Great Grandma and Grandpa Reed. Hopefully Campbell and Mom can go next time!
Our little pirate Addyson....rrrrrr!
Caden Francis' 3rd Birthday Party -- on hunt for the treasure chest!

OUR NEW BABY GIRL -- CAMPBELL LYNN

A week after her due date we FINALLY went to the hospital to be induced. Almost 11 hours later beautiful little Campbell entered the world.

7lbs and 7oz; 21in long

Not to begin the comparisons between Addyson and Campbell but Campbell was 2 inches longer and 4oz smaller. (Let's hope Campbell's big feet are a sign she will be tall like mom!).

More comparing....Addyson (above) and Campbell (below) at 2 days old.
Addyson met her little sister the next morning and was so excited. All along she kept saying she wanted a little sister. So far Addyson has is doing great as a big sister. Addyson always wants to know where her "baby" is and to hug and kiss her goodbye. Campbell is also doing very well at home - knock on wood. Mom and Dad are adjusting to the limited sleep and having two little girls to enjoy!
