Week 7

We have made it to week 7 and boy how time flies.

Addyson started smiling more this week when you talk to her.

She is able to follow more with her eyes also.

Addyson got to wear her new hat when going on a walk with Mom.

She kinda looks like a tough chick.

We did a craft project this week.

Take paint and mom and dad's hands and put on a canvas,

Addyson didn't do so well with paint on her hands

so we resorted to doing the feet.

She kinda looks like she could be a member

of the BlueMan Group....see video.

Week 6

Addyson is now 6 weeks old (and mom's maternity leave is half way over - so sad)! Addyson has been pretty good at smiling in her sleep (either angels talking to her or the relief of gas - some days it could go either way) but this week she has finally smiled with her eyes open! The only bad thing is we weren't able to get many pictures taken of those heart-warming smiles. I even think I heard her laugh - she was sleeping though! She has also become incredible aware of us and things going on around her - which has been so much fun!

A smile we got a picture of! (Looks like she may smile like the Brands - can't keep those eyes open - thanks Grandpa!).

Week 5

Happy Birthday Mommy!!!!

This is week 5 and it was a fun week.

We had our first actual bath in the tub,

which Addyson seemed to enjoy.

Taking a bath makes baby tired!! We visited Mom's work and did our first shopping trip to the Green with Grandma Brand and Aunt Mal-Mal. Due to our new Jeep stroller blowing a tire Addyson was carried around the mall, but that didn't stop these girls from doing thier shopping, and getting all those "great deals".

Dad is really excited about the first of what will probably be many shopping trips and big savings, yeah right.

Week 4

Another week down without too much craziness. We started the week out with our first baby shower that Addyson was invited to - which meant a lot of family members to hold her. We also had our first shopping trip out to Target and Kohl's - don't worry Dad, we did not spend too much money since everything we bought was on sale! ;) Addyson behaved pretty well. She just got a little fussy but was much better once she was out of the car seat and able to really look around at everything.

I believe Addyson's first (many) kisses from a boy - Carson Bergman.
